Cinderella : Perth Pantomime - Friday 26th November - Friday 31st December 2021

While most people are only just saying goodbye to summer, others are already looking towards the holiday season. Christmas is less than one month away, which means it’s time to start thinking about booking tickets for the Panto. For those living in Perth, Cinderella is definitely a fun option to consider. Taking place in Perth Theatre, one of the oldest repertory theatre companies in Scotland from November, why not go to the ball.

The Story of Cinderella
Cinderella works in her late father's shop, but her Stepmother and Stepsisters, Bella and Ella, are doing their very best to make her life a misery. They've taken over the business, and poor Cinderella is doing ALL the work, while they are living their best life ... it's SO unfair!

Cinderella's work mate and best pal, Buttons, is furious that she's so badly treated, but Cinders is more concerned about how the rest of the workforce are feeling - unlike Bella and Ella, who only care about SHOPPING!

And now it's all change - the business is modernising, shop staff siblings Stella and Arthur are being laid off, and Buttons seems to have disappeared into thin air … what's going on? And who's that mysterious woman peering in the shop window? I'm sure she wasn't there a second ago ... very strange.

Throw in a Prince who has renounced all Royal duties, a Charity Ball, plus some Riverside Wildlife, and a cracking pair of shoes, and you have a story of Cinderella to share with you. Come to Perth Theatre to join this adventure - you're ALL invited to the Ball!

The Story of Perth Theatre
To protect one of Scotland’s oldest theatres, Horsecross Arts took over Perth Theatre (which had lost some of its former glory) in 2005. Horsecross Arts was set up expressly to run Perth Theatre, along with the Perth Concert Hall, and has taken it through an extensive restoration. This was completed in 2017 when the theatre re-opened its doors.

Included in the renovation was a new studio with a 200-person capacity and community rooms. It is now home to a whole host of different productions including dramas, musicals, dance performances, comedy shows and community events. Then there’s the pantomime.

Visiting the Pantomime
Cinderella opens on Friday 26th November 2021 and runs through to Friday 31st December 2021. Depending on the day, there are either one or two performances (the majority of which are at 2 PM and 7 PM). Ticket prices start at £14 (off-peak) and up to £27 (peak).

Perth Theatre is located in the city centre, making it easily accessible for those who live locally and ideal for those staying in Pitlandie Wood Lodges over winter. Our beautiful lodges offer high-quality accommodation just 15 minutes away from Perth and Perth Theatre’s Sinbad production!
