Paws @ The Palace At Scone Palace

The award-winning Scone Palace is a much loved day out for visitors and locals in Perthshire, and this year, they are welcoming four-legged friends with their new Paws @ The Palace event. Dogs and their owners can visit Scone Palace during the event for a great day of fun and games, and the chance for furry creatures to make new friends in a stunning setting.

Scone Palace has been recognised as one of the most pet-friendly visitor attractions in Scotland and last summer it was named in the top 7 of the UK's most pet-friendly places to visit.

What’s On At Paws @ The Palace
Paws @ The Palace has been organised in partnership with Dog-Friendly Perthshire and is an all-day event on Sunday 30th June 2019. Throughout the day, there will be various agility classes, dog parades showcasing different breeds, doggy games and demonstrations for everyone to enjoy. Food stalls will be offering scrumptious snacks and meals for both humans and dogs, and stands will be selling a range of dog gifts and gear.

Cooldown areas will be available throughout the event to keep dogs calm in the summer weather. The event starts at 10 am, and visitors will be charged an admission ticket to Scone Palace grounds, which can be pre-booked online.

About Scone Palace
As well as being one of the best locations in the area for a dog walk, Scone Palace is a great day out for the whole family. Located in Perth, Scone Palace gives visitors the opportunity to explore both the beautiful grounds set in the Scottish countryside and the grand palace itself.

There is a huge variety of things to do on a day at Scone Palace including outdoor activities, gift shops and a coffee shop. The palace has a long and colourful history as one of Scotland’s most important stately homes, and fifteen hundred years ago it was the capital of the Picts.

Over the years it has been used as the seat of parliament and the location for the crowning of the King of Scots including Robert The Bruce.
